Chorus Tour
Well, it finally came and it's already over.
Seems like it took an awful lot of work for this one little weekend. :)
We had fun, it was was worth the work, I was blessed many times over. Sometimes it seems like the songs got monotonous and the next time the same song would speak to me in a way I hadn't thought of before.Lots of good times on the bus, just plain out a lot of time spent on the bus. :) Our first stop was southern IN, then we headed for AR and gave 3 programs down there. Mon we traveled home, and a long day that was!!
Lots of time to catch up with friends, get to know others better and listen to a good story or two from someone.
We left early every morning so you needed to catch a nap somewhere along the line. Only problem was, we never all slept at the same time. When the older/married people in the front of the bus wanted to sleep, the younger ones in the back where loud, but they claimed we kept them awake too. I don't think it was half as bad for them by the looks of things. :)
One stop was Hillcrest. As you can see it was dreary and rainy most of the time we were in AR. We were just happy to get off the bus and walk!!
grrr Lisa and Ashley. I think Bethany was the only happy one here. Lack of sleep maybe. :)

Way to early in the morning to be acting like this Amanda!!
The girls went along to IN to stay with Grandma. We met them on the way home again and they were more then tickled to ride the bus for awhile. As you can see they wandered around and were fed all sorts of things.There were 34 people that were very glad to be home Monday night. We had a good trip and we're thankful to God for that!!

looks like fun. Brought back many memories when i saw the hillcreast pictures. I had so much fun there. Glad you had a great time.
It does look like fun. But it makes me tired just thinking about doing something like that and that makes me feel OLD!!
Looks like fun - I think it's so neat that you get a chance to do stuff like that! I can imagine it's a lot of work and makes for tired people, though.
hey, thanks for the pictures. beth, tried to send me hers, but I could never get them. I would love to tell Carlon to clos his mouth when he sleeps next time! I know he would love to hear that. :) And everyone looks way too happy on the pic of your last program.
